Tim from Ploose provided an excellent review of traffic networks in his affiliate newsletter last week. I strongly sugest that you join his network so you can get access to his affiliate newsletters which provide great information, and they also have some of the best paying offers also.
The following is some of his comments about traffic networks:
AdMarketplace - Great PPC Network, great staff, great UI (user-interface) and lots of traffic and targetting options. In AMP it is key to not only choose the right keywords but also split test many text ads as well as optimize per traffic source (what publisher essentially in admarketplace is displaying the ad on his/her site etc). Some sources do great for a certain keyword while other sources may do terrible for that same keyword so basing it solely on your keyword performance like you would in adwords or adcenter for example is a quick way to lose money so make sure you really check out the traffic sources section as you can disable the non performing ones, increase or lower bids incrementally per traffic source and more.
POF Ads - Plenty of Fish Ads is very similar to facebook in that its ALL demographic related and interest related. You choose age range, likes, habits, marital status etc etc. Again - you must REALLY know your demographics here and test test test with any of these networks!
TrafficVance - Great PPV Network and in my opinion the best however my personal favorite thing about TrafficVance certainly isnt PPV, its the in-text ads. With MANY campaigns I have run personally I have found that many times the in-text ad clicks (you per per click) are FAR higher quality than even adwords or adcenter in most cases. Do not underestimate in-text (inline text)! It is a great traffic source/type and still something many people are not taking advantage of.
LeadImpact - Also a great PPV network and 2nd best next to TrafficVance but does have a large amount of volume as well and possibly even more than TrafficVance but it is keyword/target and even time dependent.
